ESMO Highlights | Longcarcinoom

Prof. dr. Michel van den Heuvel van het Nijmeegse Radboudumc en dr. Lizza Hendriks van het MUMC+ in Maastricht bespreken met elkaar de hoogtepunten van het ESMO-congres op het gebied van longcarcinoom. In het tweegesprek komt naar voren dat de Nederlandse inbreng dit jaar groot is. Naast longcarcinoom bespreken ze ook het mesothelioom, waar met A.I. grote stappen worden gezet. 

In het tweegesprek komen alle belangrijke studies voor zowel de vroeg stadium als de gemetastaseerde setting aan bod.

• Mechanisms of acquired resistance to first-line amivantamab plus lazertinib versus osimertinib in patients with EGFR-mutant advanced non-small cell lung cancer: An early analysis from the phase III MARIPOSA study
• Updated efficacy and safety from the phase II PHAROS study of encorafenib plus binimetinib in patients with BRAF V600E-mutant metastatic NSCLC (mNSCLC)
• Encorafenib plus binimetinib in patients (pts) with previously untreated BRAF V600E-mutant advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC): An open-label, multicenter phase II trial (IFCT-1904 ENCO-BRAF)
• ARTIMES: Automated response evaluation to treatment in mesothelioma
